About the Role: Social Media Content Creator Jobs in Lusaka

Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, the Social Media Content Creator will be responsible for managing all social media channels and the company website to deliver an engaging and consistent brand experience. The successful candidate will research and analyze social media trends and performance metrics to optimize campaigns and increase audience engagement. Collaboration across departments is essential to effectively promote the company’s brand through platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all company social media accounts and online presence.
• Create innovative, engaging, and creative content for scheduled posts that align with brand messaging.
• Audit and analyze social media performance, including advertising costs and returns, to maximize campaign effectiveness.
• Engage with the online community to grow and maintain audience interaction.
• Utilize tracking systems to collect visitor data and evaluate campaign success, recommending improvements where necessary.
• Oversee website functionality, performance, hosting, and server management, ensuring content is current and effective.

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma in Information Technology is required; a degree is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience, preferably with some marketing exposure.
• Proficient knowledge of social media platforms, web technologies, advertising, copywriting, content creation, graphic design, and brand marketing.
• Strong proofreading and editing skills, with the ability to use modern content creation equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Customer service oriented with a creative and imaginative mindset.
