Position: Shawarma Chef
Okavango Foods Limited, renowned for providing high-quality food products and catering services, is seeking an experienced and passionate Shawarma Chef to join our dynamic culinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, season, and cook shawarma meats to perfection.
Make fresh shawarma bread and garlic sauce from scratch.
Skillfully roll shawarmas neatly and efficiently.
Manage shawarma station ensuring cleanliness, efficiency, and high-quality output.
Develop and maintain recipes, ensuring consistent flavor and quality.
Monitor stock levels, ordering ingredients and supplies as required.
Ensure strict adherence to hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
Grade 12 Certificate.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Shawarma Chef or similar role.
Proven expertise in preparation and cooking shawarma dishes, including garlic sauce and bread-making.
Requirements:
Must reside in Lusaka, preferably near or around the Woodlands area.
Exceptional culinary skills with a strong focus on quality and consistency.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
