About the role

Location: Lusaka, Zambia

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about finance and logistics administration? We are looking for a Settlement Clerk to join our team and ensure accurate settlements, efficient financial controls, and smooth warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process daily sales settlements accurately and within agreed timelines.
  • Manage driver settlements and maintain accurate driver accounts.
  • Perform daily and monthly closing of driver loads.
  • Resolve customer and driver queries promptly.
  • Process settlement corrections and maintain relevant registers.
  • Ensure all Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Prepare credit notes, invoices, and other settlement documentation.
  • Support the Distribution team by ensuring all required documentation is in place.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Requirements
  • Diploma in Logistics or a related field.
  • Certificate in Business Administration, Bookkeeping, or Finance is an added advantage.
  • 2–5 years of experience in administration, finance, bookkeeping, accounts receivable/payable, or a similar role.
  • Strong computer literacy and experience with ERP/SAP systems is an advantage.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities.
