As a prominent player in the Zambian motor industry, we specialize in sales and after-sales support for renowned brands including FAW Trucks, SINO Trucks, Ashok Leyland Trucks & Buses, Lovol Construction & Mining Equipment, and Golden Dragon Buses. We also provide genuine spare parts and expert workshop services for commercial and passenger vehicles. We are seeking dedicated professionals for service advisor jobs in Kitwe and Lusaka to enhance our customer service and workshop operations. About the Service Advisor Role The Service Advisor will serve as a key liaison between customers and the workshop, ensuring efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction. This role demands a customer-focused approach combined with strong technical knowledge of commercial vehicles and workshop processes. Key Responsibilities Welcome customers and accurately assess their vehicle service and repair needs. Prepare job cards, service estimates, and repair quotations promptly and accurately. Coordinate vehicle inspections and communicate technical requirements to workshop technicians. Monitor repair progress and provide timely updates to customers. Promote workshop services, genuine spare parts, and maintenance packages to customers. Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction through professional and courteous service. Liaise with the Parts Department to guarantee timely availability of required spare parts. Follow up with customers post-service to confirm satisfaction and encourage repeat business. Resolve customer complaints efficiently and professionally. Maintain accurate service records and prepare regular service reports. Support business development efforts to increase workshop revenue and customer retention. Qualifications and Experience Required Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Motor Vehicle Mechanics, or related field. Additional qualification in Sales and Marketing is an advantage. Minimum of three years’ experience in the motor industry, preferably as a Service Advisor, Workshop Service Receptionist, or in Customer Service. Strong knowledge of commercial vehicles, trucks, buses, construction equipment, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Good understanding of vehicle diagnostics and workshop operations. Experience in customer relationship management and after-sales service. Skills and Competencies Strong technical knowledge of motor vehicles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven sales and marketing capabilities. Customer-oriented with effective problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy. Ability to manage multiple customer requests under pressure. High integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail. Valid driver’s licence is a distinct advantage.
