Senior Mechanical Engineer Jobs in Sinazongwe
Africa Personnel Services is recruiting on behalf of a leading energy and infrastructure development company in Zambia for a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer. This contract role, based in Sinazongwe, Southern Zambia, offers an exciting opportunity to lead mechanical design, maintenance, and engineering optimization at power generation facilities. About the Senior Mechanical Engineer Role
The successful candidate will take ownership of all mechanical systems within the power plants, ensuring optimal performance and longevity. This position requires a proactive approach to maintenance and troubleshooting, as well as collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to maintain operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities for Senior Mechanical Engineer Jobs in Sinazongwe
- Lead the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies tailored to plant machinery.
- Diagnose mechanical failures and propose design or operational improvements to enhance reliability.
- Coordinate closely with project and operations teams to ensure seamless plant performance.
- Manage engineering documentation and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards.
