Job Title: Senior Mechanic

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Foreman to join our team. The foreman will be responsible for managing workshop and ensuring that all equipment’s are in line with operational requirements and are used safely and properly maintained.Remote work tools

Responsibilities:

Supervise a team of Artisans, repair and maintenance of tractors, vehicles, and all Machineries in the workshop.
To oversee efficient working of all workshops in NCCL to ensure all workshop employee time is effective utilized.
Placing timely requests of spares for all machines to avoid down time. Maintain service and maintenance schedules for all farm machinery.
By anticipating the repairs and break-down to indent for all spares well in time so that the down time is minimized. To follow up with PO and approving authority is there is delay in approval by what’s app or mail for quick process.
Reduce operating budget of repairs, maintenance and capitalize on the returns.
To do preventive maintenance of all vehicles so that the major repairs are mitigated to save cost of repairs.
Submit Annual Budget for the workshop
To submit budget for opex and capex in Aug every year for approval for the annual requirement.
Submit weekly / bio weekly and monthly reports for Electrical / Irrigation/ plumbing and spares for all farm equipment’s.

 

Track and monitor progress of action points for implementation and quick decision.
To maintain hygiene in all locations and to maintain safety under your department.
To maintain in and out register for all vehicles which comes for repairs to know the down time.Requirements and skills
Proven 5+ years of work experience.
Excellent communication skills
Diploma in Agricultural Mechanic or equivalent
Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
Available to work extended hours.
