Job description
Zimworx is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, hands-on experience with AR and AP, and the ability to manage financial processes efficiently. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes accurately and timely.
Perform balance sheet and credit card reconciliations.
Oversee acquisition accounting processes and support financial reporting.
Maintain and optimize QuickBooks accounting system, including setup and ongoing management.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, providing insights for decision-making.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and month-end/year-end close activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in AR and AP accounting.
Strong accounting knowledge and hands-on QuickBooks expertise.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
Experience with acquisition accounting processes.
Familiarity with DataRails is a plus.
High attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
