Job Description

Role purpose

To provide technical and administrative support and assist with the day-to-day running of the Seedcare laboratory. Data Capturing & validation, and other adhoc tasks as required.
To support the on-farm seed treatment during peak times as assigned by the Line Manager

Accountabilities

Assist with day-to-day operations of the Seedcare laboratory chemical analysis
Preparation of samples and equipment in the SCI laboratory
Create scientific reports and share with line Manager
Assist with a wide range of projects as and when required
Conduct onfarm seed treatment for farmers
Perform general administrative tasks
Contribute to Zambia Business Sustainability targets

 

Qualifications

Knowledge, experience & capabilities

BSc in Analytical Chemistry, Biotechnology or related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent planning and organisational skills
Analytical problem-solving skills
Ability to work with a range of cultures across the region, flexibility to accompany seedcare team on planting trials and seed drop off/collection
