JOB TITLE: SECURITY SUPERINTENDENT

The Zambia International Trade Fair Trust (ZITFT) invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Security Superintendent. The role is responsible for safeguarding ZITFT property, ensuring effective security operations, and maintaining compliance with safety, legal, and organisational standards within the Trade Fair Grounds.

1. REPORTING LINE
The Security Superintendent will report to the Administration Officer.Zambia job market
2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be expected to:
Safeguard ZITFT property against unauthorized entry, theft, vandalism, and damage.
Enforce compliance with occupational health, safety, and security procedures.
Manage and supervise security personnel and coordinate their daily operations.
Oversee security operations during Trade Fairs and non-event periods in line with approved security plans.
Conduct investigations into security incidents and breaches of the Trust’s code of conduct.
Liaise with law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders on security-related matters.
Ensure effective utilization of security equipment and adherence to budgetary controls.
Prepare and submit regular security reports to management.
Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
3. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate.
Diploma in Security Management or a related discipline.
Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant work experience in a reputable organisation.
Computer literacy in Microsoft packages.
4. SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
Strong communication and people management skills.
Good planning, organisational, and analytical skills.
High levels of integrity, honesty, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and build effective teams.
