Zambeef Products PLC is the largest integrated cold chain food products and agribusiness company in Zambia and one of the largest in the Southern Africa region. It is involved in the primary production, processing, distribution and retailing of beef, chicken, pork, eggs, dairy, fish, flour, stockfeed, and day-old chicks throughout Zambia and the surrounding region.

SECURITY OFFICER – HUNTLEY FARM (X40)

 The Required Skills for this Role Include:

•    Securing premises and personnel by patrolling, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment and access points.

•    Obtaining help by sounding alarms

•    Preventing loss and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of the company policies and procedure, restraining trespasses.

•    Making rounds to check doors and other access points are properly secured

•    Monitoring closed-circuit security feeds to identify potential threats.

•    Denying entry to unauthorised people

•    Providing entry to authorised people.

•    Questioning and detaining people who enter the premises without authorisation.

•    Ensuring the security, safety and wellbeing of all personnel, visitors and the premises.

•    Protecting the company’s assets relative to theft, assault, fire and other safety issues.

•    Checking the load for wastage disposal vehicle and prepare a gate pass for wastage disposal vehicle.

 The Required Qualifications are:

 Full Grade 12 Certificate
Experience in Similar Field
Minimum 2 years security experience

•       Ability to interact with a diverse population

•       Ability to work with minimum supervision

•       Ability to act calmly and with composure in difficult situations
