Job description
Security Guard
Role Overview
We are seeking experienced Security Guards to ensure the safety and security of our boarding school community. The role requires vigilance, professionalism, and a strong commitment to safeguarding children and young people.
Key Responsibilities
Patrol and monitor school premises, including boarding facilities.
Prevent unauthorized access and respond to security incidents.
Support safeguarding protocols and report concerns to designated officers.
Maintain accurate records of incidents, visitors, and security checks.
Assist with emergency procedures, including fire drills and evacuations.
Requirements
At least 2 years’ experience in a security role, preferably in an educational or residential setting.
Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
Strong communication skills and ability to act decisively in emergencies.
Integrity, reliability, and professional conduct.
