About the Salesperson Role

The primary goal of the Salesperson role is to drive sales performance by building lasting customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities. Successful candidates will play a key role in achieving sales targets, expanding market reach, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities for Salesperson Jobs in Lusaka

• Promote and sell company products and services to existing and prospective customers.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow sales volume.
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
• Conduct engaging product presentations and demonstrations.
• Respond promptly and accurately to customer inquiries.
• Prepare quotations, invoices, and detailed sales reports.
• Follow up on orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay informed.
• Participate actively in sales meetings, training sessions, and promotional events.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of Grade 12 School Certificate (Form V).
• Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least three years of relevant sales experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong sales and marketing skills with excellent customer relationship management.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
• Problem-solving skills combined with professionalism and integrity.
