About the Role – Salesperson Jobs in Lusaka

This permanent position is based at the Lewanika branch under the OK Furniture division. As a Salesperson, you will play a key role in driving sales performance by engaging customers, understanding their needs, and recommending suitable products. The role focuses on generating revenue while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.

You will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing cash and credit transactions in compliance with company policies, and maintaining a customer-centric approach throughout all interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute sales activities to meet and exceed sales budgets and targets
• Attract and retain customers through effective merchandising and product knowledge
• Process cash and credit transactions accurately and according to company procedures
• Build and nurture strong customer relationships by identifying their needs and offering tailored product recommendations
• Provide excellent customer service to promote repeat business and customer satisfaction

Candidate Requirements and Competencies

• Minimum education: Grade 12
• 7 to 12 months of sales experience, preferably within retail
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively
• Self-motivated with a drive to achieve results
• Excellent customer service orientation and interpersonal communication skills
• Attention to detail and initiative in daily tasks
• Basic knowledge of retail operations, business policies, and sales processes
• Extensive product knowledge across multiple categories
• Emotional maturity, resilience, and confidence to handle a fast-paced retail environment
