POSITION: DIRECT SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Direct Sales Representative to join our growing distribution company. The Distribution Representative or DSRs will be responsible for managing the distribution of products to various retail outlets, ensuring timely and efficient delivery, and maintaining strong relationships with our clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong understanding of distribution processes and logistics.

Responsibilities:

Manage the distribution of products to various retail outlets, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.Coordinate with the logistics team to plan and execute efficient distribution strategies.
Monitor inventory levels at retail outlets and ensure timely restocking to avoid shortages.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and retail partners to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Communicate effectively with the sales team to understand customer demand and market trends.
Collaborate with the warehouse team to streamline the picking, packing, and shipping processes.
Track and analyze distribution data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
Resolve any distribution-related issues or concerns promptly to ensure smooth operations.
Implement and adhere to safety protocols and best practices in all distribution activities.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in distribution and logistics.

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 Full Certificate. A qualification in business administration, supply chain management, sales or related field will be an added advantage.
Proven work experience in sales, distribution, logistics, or a related field.
Strong understanding of distribution processes, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members.
Proficiency in using distribution management software and tools.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address distribution-related challenges.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling distribution operations.
A team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to achieving company goals.
