Role Overview: Sales and Marketing Associate Jobs in Lusaka

Reporting jointly to the local Sales Manager and the Head of Marketing & Growth of MPower Group, the Sales & Marketing Associate plays a crucial role in driving sales of solar products and elevating the company’s brand visibility. We are looking for a proactive self-starter who thrives in a hands-on sales environment, enjoys building strong customer relationships, and is eager to contribute to the company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales & Customer Engagement (60%)
  • Actively promote and sell solar products and solutions to customers in the market.
  • Identify new sales opportunities and pursue them to ensure steady revenue growth.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets through effective customer interactions.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
  • Represent the company at sales activations, exhibitions, fairs, and related events.
• Marketing & Brand Growth (40%)
  • Manage and update the company’s Facebook, WhatsApp Business, and other relevant social media platforms to boost engagement and visibility.
  • Create and distribute compelling content to strengthen the company’s online presence and reputation.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies tailored to the local market’s needs.
  • Assist in training colleagues by sharing effective sales and marketing practices.
  • Coordinate marketing activities with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Certificate in Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in sales or marketing with a track record of achieving results.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confidence in direct selling and customer engagement in a market environment.
• Basic understanding of digital marketing tools and CRM software.
• Ability to assess customer needs and craft tailored solutions.
• Willingness to engage actively in hands-on sales activities.
• Membership in ZIM and/or ZAQA is advantageous but not mandatory.
