Sales Coordinator

Job Purpose

To coordinate sales activities by acting as a link between customers, the production team, and the stores unit, ensuring efficient order processing, timely delivery, and high customer satisfaction.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

a)     Coordinate communication between customers, production, and stores to ensure smooth order fulfillment.

b)     Process and track customer orders from receipt to delivery.

c)     Ensure accurate order entry and alignment with production schedules.

d)     Monitor stock levels in collaboration with the stores unit and advise on replenishment needs.

e)     Follow up with the production team to ensure timely manufacturing of customer orders.

f)      Update customers on order status, delivery timelines, and any delays.

g)     Resolve customer queries and complaints by coordinating internally for quick solutions.

h)     Maintain proper documentation of orders, deliveries, and customer interactions.

i)       Prepare regular sales and order status reports for management.

Qualifications and Experience

·   Grade 12 Certificate with a minimum of 5 credits including English and Mathematics

·  Degree in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field

·  Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a similar coordination or sales support role. Experience in working with the ‘FOCUS’ ERP will be an added advantage
