Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Carryout the sales of agro inputs and give technical guidance on how to use the agro inputs bought at the outlet you are attached to.
Conduct on the table farmer consultations and give technical advice accordingly.
Utilize your business acumen to attract new customers.
Update the inventory at the shop you are attached to once new items are received.
Work on building a book of business by calling potential customers or going to their business.
Check to see if orders are in stock.
Be familiar with a type of seeds, pesticides, herbicides and fungicides
Recommend a different and more efficient product when necessary
Regularly communicate any issues that require the attention to your Supervisors.
Qualifications and Experience
Diploma in general agriculture or related program
Must be registered with Zambia Veterinary Council
Experience in an agro shop is required
Strong sales ability, business acumen, and commercial awareness.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Strong leadership abilities.
Good time management, strategic planning, and organizational skills.
