Loan Consultant X 2

The Loan Consultant will act as a liaison between applicants and the financial institution, helping qualified applicants obtain loans and set up payment plans. Initiate various loan underwriting processes and facilitate loan processing in order to provide quality services to corporate and individual clients. Other duties will include meeting with applicants, preparing loan proposals, lead generation, and examining active loans.

Education & Competencies

·     Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting, Banking and finance /or related field. A degree will be an added advantage

·     Presentable, honest, mature with good communication skills (both orally and written)

·     Should be sales aggressive, effective communicator, self-motivated, team player, sociable, versatile, resourceful, hardworking and should exhibit initiative.

·     1 – 2 yeas sales experience in the microfinance industry handling personal loans, and business loans.

·     Good presentation, Numeric and analytical skills

·     Ability to use Basic Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)

·     Be able to demonstrate a keen ability to inter-relate with people of diverse backgrounds and should be able to communicate at all levels with a great service-orientated disposition.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

·     Sell and cross-sell the Company products and services whilst building long term profitable customer relations.

·     Provide weekly and daily sales reports through the team leader.

·     Prepare and share sales plan through the team leader.

·     Sell and up-sell all products allocated to them and avoid any possible miss-selling.

·     Continually seek new opportunities to market services and bring in new customers by thoroughly understanding the marketing and economic environment.

·     Deliver agreed customer and product sales.

·     Create and monitor customer sales programs.

·     Responsible for keeping self and supervisors up to date on competitor and market development.

·     Provide feedback for product and service changes, amendments and developments.

·     Deliver appropriate product solutions and services to customers.

·     Develop strong internal relationships to support the successful servicing of customers and the delivery of sales targets.

·     Build a strong local profile for self and the company through positive involvement in community activities.

·     Escalate customer complaints and resolution process in the portfolio.

·     Ensure all KYC documentation is completed.
