Our client, a provider of vehicle collateral loans and import financing, seeks a motivated Loan/Sales Officer to drive business growth by identifying potential clients, promoting loan offerings, and assisting customers throughout the loan application process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong sales expertise, excellent customer service, and the ability to cultivate long-term client relationships while meeting sales targets.

Key Responsibilities for Sales Associate Jobs in Lusaka

• Business Development: Manage and maintain relationships with auto collateral loan clients, whether vehicles are GPS-tracked or physically impounded. Consistently meet monthly and quarterly loan disbursement goals.
• Channel Expansion: Develop partnerships with used car dealerships, auto finance companies, insurance agents, and auto repair service providers to establish reliable client acquisition channels.
• Due Diligence: Perform initial client screening including vehicle appraisal, credit assessments, repayment capacity analysis, and verification of loan purpose authenticity.
• Post-Loan Management: Oversee loan tracking and collection activities to ensure timely repayments.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• At least 2 years of experience in auto collateral loans, auto finance, leasing, pawnshops, or related sectors.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license with the ability to operate various common vehicle models proficiently.
• Preferably connected with used car dealerships, agencies, or car owner networks to leverage existing market resources.
• Strong knowledge of market trends related to mainstream vehicle models for accurate appraisals.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build trust and close deals efficiently.
• High risk awareness with the ability to identify potential fraud risks.

Compensation Package

• Base Salary: K5,000 monthly
• Commission: Tiered commissions ranging from 5% to 8% of business revenue generated
