Sales Assistant

Job description

Maintain positive business with customers to maximize sales
Supply supervisors with reports on customer needs, problems, interest, competitive activities ,and potential for new products and services
Ensure that stock is requested on time and the sales floor is fully packed with fast moving and most customer wanted items
Help set direction for sales channels in respect of standard and operating policies
Responsible for trade marketing, point of sale and brand development in respective sales channel
Keep track of stock level and shrinkage
Follow up on customer quotation
Ensure that sales book are fully updated and circulated to the sales officer
Always ensure to confirm stock after each stock taking is done
Resolve customer complaint promptly to maintain high satisfaction and positive relationship
Continuously improve through feedback by performing cost-benefit and need analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
Expedite the resolutions of customers problems and complaints to maximize customer satisfaction
Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcome within schedule
Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
Analyze the territory/market potential ,track sales and status report
Greet customers warmly and provide assistant needed
Ensure that the company procedure and lay down rules are followed
Educate customers about product features, promotion and loyalty programs to enhance sales
Ensure smooth and organized management of customer data, sales activities and follow schedule
Supply management with reports on customer needs, problem, interest, competitive activities and potential for new products and services
Restock shelves and display areas as needed to ensure product efficiently
Maintain detailed and up to date record of clients interactions in the system provided by the organization
Ensure that the working place is clean all the time
Ensure that monthly report are submitted on 05th of every month
Any other duty assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum Qualification

-Must have a full grade twelve certificate

-Must have a certificate or diploma in Business administration or related programs

-Must be computer literate

-Must have 1 year hand on sales experience

-Must have good communication skills verbal and written
