Key Responsibilities

* Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and potential clients.

* Generating leads and following up on enquiries to convert them into sales.

* Building and maintaining strong, professional relationships with existing and prospective clients.

* Following up with clients on enquiries, sales opportunities and pending business.

* Assisting with marketing, promotional and business development activities.

* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date sales records, customer information and reports.

* Coordinating with internal teams to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of products and services.

* Conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and market trends.

* Attending client meetings, site visits and business development activities as required.

* Consistently working towards achieving assigned sales and business development targets.

Qualifications & Skills

* Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations, Sales or a related field.

* Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience in sales, marketing, customer service, business development or a related role.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

* Good organisational, negotiation and presentation skills.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

* Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

* Ability to work under pressure and meet set targets and deadlines.

* Must hold a valid driver’s licence, preferably with at least 5 years of driving experience.

* Must be a member of the Zambia Institute of Marketing (ZIM).

Added Advantage

*Experience in direct selling to the mining industry will be an added advantage.

*Holder of a Valid Driver’s License
