SALES AND MARKETING LEAD

Accent Innovations Group Limited seeks to recruit a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Marketing Lead to head its sales function and supervise a team of four (4) Sales and Marketing Executives.

The ideal candidate should be a strategic thinker with strong leadership ability, a solid background in IT products, software solutions, and business development, and a proven track record of driving sales growth. This role requires someone who can lead from the front, build high-performing teams, and develop winning sales and marketing strategies.

Location: Lusaka, Zambia

Start Date: Immediate

Key Responsibilities

Lead, supervise, and mentor the team of four Sales and Marketing Executives
Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth
Set sales targets, monitor performance, and ensure the team delivers results
Identify new business opportunities and build strong client relationships
Oversee preparation of proposals, quotations, presentations, and negotiations
Guide the team in marketing the company’s IT products, software solutions, and digital services
Work closely with technical and management teams to align client solutions with business objectives
Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity
Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews
Represent the company in business meetings, networking events, and client engagements

Minimum Requirements

Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, ICT, Computer Science, or a related field
5 to 10 years of relevant experience in sales and marketing, preferably in IT, software, or technology solutions
Demonstrated experience in leading and managing sales teams
Strong understanding of software solutions, ICT products, and enterprise technology services
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing business portfolios
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and strategic planning ability
Ability to work under pressure and make quick, sound decisions

Added Advantage

Experience in B2B sales, enterprise software, systems integration, or managed IT services
Existing network of corporate, government, or institutional clients
Valid driver’s licence
