Sales and Marketing Consultant

Job description

JOB DETAILS:
Responsible for helping individuals acquire loans from the company via sales and promotion initiatives and proper assessment of the client needs while delivering exceptional customer service in line with company policies. Aid in loan evaluation and setting up debt repayment plans.

Responsibilities
1. Analyze potential loan markets to find opportunities to promote loan sales
2. Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales and revenue targets
3. Develop/ execute sales strategies to improve the loan portfolio
4. Make credit decisions within assigned authority
5. Oversee the updating of data screening to ensure all accounts are actioned within the company’s guideline.
6. Counsel applicants on loan repayments policies and restrictions
7. Maintain and review accounts records updating them according to status changes.

8. Ensure loan applications are complete and correct, and repayments are calculated accurately
9. Interview applicants to determine financial eligibility for loans
10. Ensure adherence to the company’s system, policies and procedures issued by the internal control.

Requirements and Skills
1. Tertiary level education, preferably a Diploma or Degree in Business or finance
2. 3 years’ experience in a similar position with an emphasis on new client acquisition and client retention.

4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
5. Good networking skills
6. Ability to work independently in a goal-oriented environment
7. Competence in analyzing financial information
8. Good time management skills
9. Good decision-making skills
