About the Safety Officer Role in Copperbelt Province

As an Underground Safety Officer with LC&Y, you will play a critical role in promoting and maintaining safety standards within our mining operations. Key Qualifications and Experience

• Grade 12 Certificate (minimum educational requirement)

• Valid Blasting License or mining-related certification is an advantage
• At least 3 years of experience in underground mining safety operations
• Comprehensive knowledge of mining safety regulations and standards
• Strong communication skills, including report writing
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in remote mining environments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
