Job description

Royal Therapy Mental Health Services is inviting applications from passionate, dedicated, and caring individuals to fill the position of Nursing Assistant.

Position Requirements
– Be male and based in Ndola.
– Be ready and available to start work immediately.
– Hold a Grade 12 School Certificate.
– Have a Certificate in Nursing Assistant.
– A Diploma in Nursing will be an added advantage.
– Have experience working in a mental health or healthcare setting (added advantage).
– Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Be compassionate, patient, emotionally resilient, and able to work with clients experiencing mental health challenges.
– Be willing to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities
– Provide compassionate nursing care and support to clients.
– Assist clients with activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
– Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients’ responses.
– Observe, monitor, and report changes in clients’ physical and mental condition.
– Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment.
– Support clients during rehabilitation and recovery activities.
– Assist with patient records and care documentation.
– Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
