We invite reputable and qualified Electrical contractors to submit their Proposals for the following works and services:

Scope of Work

· Rewiring both terminal buildings.

· Aligning of hybrid power backup solar system of 10KW inverter system with diesel powered Generator and ZESCO Grid

· Automating the security lighting system.

· Upgrading power distribution boxes to 24-way D.B. boxes.

· Replacing lighting switches to modern standards.

· Replacing/upgrading underground armored cables (35mm x 4 cores, 15 meters).

Submission Eligibility / Legal Documents

· Company registration certificate whichever may be appropriate under existing laws of Zambia

· Valid local authority business license

· Other appropriate certificate or reference as may be required by the Procuring Entity

. EIZ registration

· All the required documents in the technical proposal

· Bidders must strictly adhere to all the requirements of this RFP.

· No changes, substitutions or other alterations to the rules and provisions stipulated in this RFP may be made or assumed unless it is instructed or approved in writing by the HIZ in the form of supplemental information to the RFP.

· Any Bid/Proposal submitted will be regarded as an offer by the bidder and does not constitute or imply the acceptance of any bid by the HIZ

· The HIZ is under no obligation to award a contract to any Bidder because of this RFP

· Interested contractors are to submit their Proposals by [submission deadline].

· All tenders should include a detailed plan, timeline, and cost breakdown.

Evaluation Criteria

· Compliance with the scope of work and with bill of quantities.

· Demonstrated experience and qualifications in similar projects.

· Competitive pricing and project timeline.
