Beeline Telecoms Limited (Trading as ZedMobile) and its subsidiaries is a Telecommunications Company whose line of Business is selling Telecommunication products and services to consumers, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and corporates business and is incorporated in Zambia with its Head Office located in Lusaka, Zambia.

 ROLE REQUIREMENT

We are looking for a skilled Revenue Assurance Specialist who will ensure the accuracy and integrity of a company’s revenue streams by identifying discrepancies, implementing controls, and collaborating with various departments. 

The key and primary focus of the role will be to monitor major revenue streams to prevent leakages and fraud and to ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and ZedMobile financial management processes

Key Responsibilities

Defines a revenue assurance and fraud prevention strategy aligned with the overall ZedMobile strategy
Develops a revenue assurance framework that encompasses the elements of people process, tools and measurement to deliver Revenue Assurance strategy
Translates Finance business plan into operational plans ensuring alignment of these to ZedMobile Policy and revenue assurance practice and drives the execution thereof taking corrective actions where necessary
Drives the implementation of revenue strategy, policies, standards and framework
Develop and implement controls to ensure adherence and compliance to policies and procedures pertaining to Revenue Assurance unit
Monitor adherence of system tools available to the unit’s operational requirements
Define the fraud system /RA system requirements for ZedMobile
Drive and continuously enhance the cross-function integration of knowledge and impact of downstream impact and consequences of system and process changes (lead the initiative for spreading RA awareness throughout the organisation
Defines, implements and continuously revises suite of tools for validity and appropriateness. Manage and monitor post-implementation, ensuring their ongoing efficiency
Drives best practice, continuous improvement and innovation at process and procedure level within the revenue Assure unit
Facilitates the development and implementation of the best practice revenue assurance benchmarking tool ( to reveal gaps between best practice and current ZedMobile practice)
Oversees the application of policies, processes, procedures and practices regarding fraud prevention, checks effectiveness of systems to tracking detect, prevent and resolve fraud situations
Monitors effectiveness and efficiency of revenue Assurance governance structures, drives the education of internal customers on the role of RA-through the RA governance forums- and how they may contribute

 Candidate Requirements

Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workloads and meet strict deadlines.
Ability to communicate effectively with employees and other stakeholders in the organisation.
Degree-Finance/Business Administration/ACCA or equivalent
Member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA) in good standing.
Minimum 3 years experience in telecommunication industry with at least 2 of these in revenue Assurance/Audit
Strong understanding of telecom revenue cycle, processes, network elements and systems involved
Experience in working on billing systems, IN and network elements like MSCs.( Experience on ability, Baicels network elements and Baicels IN would be added advantage)
