REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) FOR EVENTS MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR THE SELF-FINANCING AGRTECH EXPO -AGR/EXPO/001/2025
1. Introduction
The Farmers’ Expo Zambia Limited cordially solicits proposals to provide ‘Event Management Services’ for the Agritech Expo on a contract period of three (3) years. Bidders are reminded to read the full text of the Request for Proposals (RFP) document with patience and attention. All the annexures shall be applicable in the evaluation of this RFP. Bidders may submit proposals as individual entities or partners.
2. Background
The Agritech Expo is an annual event organized by the Zambia National Farmers Union (ZNFU) and Golden Valley Agricultural Research Trust (GART) through a company, Farmers’ Expo Zambia Limited. The self-financing Expo draws participants from both local and international stakeholders whose interest is in the growth of agriculture and promotion of sustainable farming practices.
The Agritech Expo is a business-to-business event that aims to improve agricultural landscape in Zambia and neighboring countries. The expo’s goals include, Networking, Innovation, sustainability, Knowledge sharing and Business development.
3. The Request for Proposals
The full Request for Proposals could be purchased from the Zambia National Union (ZNFU) at two Hundred (200 USD) United States Dollars or Kwacha equivalent.
4. Submission of Proposals
Proposals, labelled “AGR/EXPO/001/2025 – EVENT MANAGEMENT SERVICES” addressed to The Procurement Consultant, FARMERS’ EXPO ZAMBIA LIMITED C/O Zambia National Farmers Union, Farmers Village, Tiyende Pamodzi Road,Show Grounds, Lusaka, Zambia, should be submitted on the email: judy.hamonzwe@znfu.org.zm not later than Friday, April 4th, 2025 at 17 hours Lusaka local time. Only electronically submitted proposals shall be considered.
LATE SUBMITTED PROPOSALS SHALL BE REJECTED.

Evaluation will be conducted on Saturday 5th April 2025 at 08 hours
