About the Role – Registered Nurse Jobs in Ndola

As a Registered Nurse with Cerba Lancet Zambia, you will play a critical role in supporting clinical and administrative healthcare services. Your responsibilities will include managing sample registration, performing phlebotomy, and ensuring efficient handling of patient interactions. This position requires a professional who can maintain high standards of accuracy and confidentiality while working effectively under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Process sample registration (“logging”) and respond to queries following established standard operating procedures.
• Sort and distribute samples accurately in accordance with protocols.
• Perform phlebotomy procedures with precision and care.
• Monitor turnaround times to maintain efficient workflow.
• Address administrative queries and resolve customer complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and prepare equipment in your work area according to guidelines.
• Track stock levels and order supplies to guarantee availability of necessary materials.
• Handle cash transactions from patients and ensure proper banking in line with procedures.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Grade 12 certificate and relevant nursing qualification.
• At least one year of experience working in the healthcare sector.
• Experience handling cash and operating point of care machines.
• Proficiency in data entry and computer literacy.
• Strong communication skills and excellent telephone etiquette.
• Customer-oriented with effective interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, pressurized environment.
