Job description
A reputable organization is seeking to hire qualified, experienced, and professional candidates for the following positions:
1. Engineer
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years’ work experience in engineering projects.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or equivalent).
Valid driver’s license.
Age between 30–40 years.
Must be well-presentable and professional.
Strong computer literacy, especially in MS Word and Excel.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare material, equipment, and labor cost estimates ensuring costs remain within budget.
Forecast construction timelines and prepare detailed work schedules.
Perform risk analysis considering budget, regulations, and environmental hazards.
Analyze BoQs and drawings for new projects.
Ensure quality control and compliance with standards.
Conduct site supervision and monitor project progress.
Utilize project management tools to track budgets, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
Provide leadership, technical oversight, and mentorship to junior engineers and site personnel.
Oversee project close-out activities, inspections, and final reporting.
2. Quantity Surveyor
Requirements:
Full Grade 12 Certificate.
BSc in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ working experience in construction projects.
Must be well-presentable and professional.
Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
Valid driver’s license.
Key Responsibilities:
Demonstrate thorough understanding of modern construction technology and structures.
Price competitively and forecast material costs for construction projects.
Conduct feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labor costs.
Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, BoQs, and related documentation.
Prepare Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs) and project reports, including financial/feasibility audits.
Advise on legal and contractual issues.
Provide cost-control and financial guidance throughout project lifecycles.
