About the Quality Assurance Officer Role As a Quality Assurance Officer at Bridging Gap Solution, you will play a critical role in establishing and enforcing quality assurance processes. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies to identify defects before product releases, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal policies. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and enforce quality assurance standards, processes, quality plans, and checklists across multiple projects. Review project and software deliverables against acceptance criteria and quality requirements at each project stage gate. Plan and conduct quality reviews and audits throughout the project portfolio. Create test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and acceptance criteria. Perform functional, integration, system, regression, performance, and usability testing, both manual and automated where applicable. Log, track, and verify defects; facilitate root cause analysis; retest fixes and maintain detailed defect logs. Collaborate with developers to support security and performance testing and contribute to automated testing within the CI/CD pipeline. Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), go-live, and hand-over readiness reviews. Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 27001 practices, OWASP guidelines, the Data Protection Act 2021, and internal standard operating procedures. Define, monitor, and report quality and testing metrics and KPIs to the PMO and management teams. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery quality across the department. Qualifications and Experience Required Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Quality Management, or a related discipline. At least 2 to 3 years of experience in quality assurance and/or software testing, preferably within the ICT or software sector. Proficient knowledge of QA methodologies, software testing techniques, and tools such as Selenium, Postman, JMeter, and defect tracking tools like Jira. Familiarity with ISO 27001 standards, OWASP security practices, secure development, SQL, APIs, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC). ISTQB or other recognized quality certifications are advantageous.
