PUMPS SALES ENGINEER × 5

Job Purpose

To promote, market, and sell industrial, agricultural, mining, and water pumping solutions while providing technical support to customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Promote and sell pumps and related equipment.
• Conduct customer visits and site inspections.
• Prepare quotations and follow up on sales.
• Provide technical advice on pump selection and installation.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Prepare weekly sales reports.
• Coordinate with technical and stores departments on product availability.
• Represent the company at exhibitions and customer demonstrations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in:
  • Agricultural Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Mining Engineering
  • Water Engineering
  • Or any related engineering field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in pump or industrial equipment sales.
• Good understanding of pumping systems.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Willing to travel extensively.
