Organisation: Mooto Holdings Location: Mooto College of Business Application Deadline: 24th April 2026 Start Date: 20th May 2026 Programme Overview Mooto Holdings invites applications from highly motivated and recently graduated Bachelor of Medicine (MBChB) holders to join its Public Health & Medical Fellowship Programme . This is a 6-month, full-time, non-stipend-based fellowship designed to equip young medical graduates with practical experience in public health programming, medical research, and donor-funded project development . Fellows will be integrated into Mooto’s development finance ecosystem, supporting the design and implementation of health and medical projects , while gaining hands-on experience in proposal writing for international donors . Top-performing fellows will be considered for paid, project-based consultancy roles within Mooto Holdings’ growing portfolio of funded initiatives. Key Responsibilities Support the development of concept notes and proposals for donor-funded health and public health projects Conduct research and data analysis on health systems, disease burden, and intervention strategies Contribute to the design of community health and public health programmes Participate in ongoing health-related projects and field activities (where applicable) Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Mooto Holdings’ project portfolio Assist in preparing technical reports, briefs, and presentations Learning & Development Areas Fellows will receive structured exposure to: Public health systems and programming Global health funding mechanisms (WHO, UNICEF, EU, etc.) Proposal and grant writing for development finance Monitoring, evaluation, and health impact assessment Health innovation and project design Minimum Requirements Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery ( MBChB ) or equivalent Recent graduate (or within early career stage) Strong interest in public health, research, and development work Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills Ability to work in a structured, professional environment High level of commitment and willingness to learn Programme Conditions (Important) This is a non-stipend-based fellowship Fellows will be provided with accommodation at Mooto College of Business Fellows must have access to a functional personal laptop/computer Fellows are required to bring: A single bed mattress Personal bedding Personal cooking utensils (self-catering facilities available) Fellows will be expected to reside on-site and participate fully in programme activities What You Gain Hands-on experience in real donor-funded projects Practical skills in proposal development and public health programming Exposure to international development finance systems Opportunity to build a strong professional portfolio Pathway to paid consultancy roles based on performance How to Apply Interested candidates should submit: A detailed CV A cover letter outlining interest in public health and development work Send applications to: recruitment@mootoholdings.com Subject Line: Application – Public Health & Medical Fellowship Programme Note This programme is highly competitive and suited for candidates who are: Self-driven Career-focused Interested in transitioning into public health, research, and development consultancy Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
