Job description
Position: Project Officer (2 Positions)
Location: Lusaka
Organisation: Alliance for Community Action (ACA)
The Alliance for Community Action (ACA) is recruiting two (2) Project Officers to support the effective implementation of our governance, accountability and civic engagement programmes. These roles are ideal for proactive, organised and committed individuals passionate about citizen participation, public resource management, and strengthening community voices across Zambia.
Key Responsibilities
· Planning, implementing and monitoring project activities.
· Preparing project reports and documenting key findings.
· Leading community mobilisation, trainings, research support and event coordination.
· Ensuring compliance with ACA’s programmatic, finance and procurement procedures.
· Representing ACA in meetings, media engagements and partner activities.
· Supervising interns, volunteers and project assistants when assigned.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Development Studies, Public Administration, Political Science, Law or a related social science field.
Strong writing, project reporting and communication skills.
At least 3 years’ experience in civil society work or project-based development roles.
Demonstrated experience engaging communities, public institutions or donors.
Added Advantage
Experience with grant proposal development, mentoring, or media engagement.
PSAM training.
Valid driver’s licence with 2+ years’ driving experience.
