Job description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced individual to supervise and coordinate a Water Sanitation Project in Lusaka Province.
The supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that construction and installation works are carried out safely, efficiently and in accordance with the project’s specifications and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate construction site activities, including drilling, civil and installation works.
Ensure adherence to technical specifications, safety standards and quality control procedures.
Liaise with engineers, project managers, and suppliers to ensure smooth progress of works.
Monitor material usage and workforce productivity on site.
Prepare daily and weekly site progress reports.
Ensure compliance with environmental and safety requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction.
Valid current practicing certificate (from the Engineering Institution of Zambia – EIZ or relevant body).
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar civil works, preferably in water supply, borehole equipping or construction projects.
Proven ability to manage teams and coordinate multiple site activities.
Strong leadership, communication, and reporting skills.
