Role Overview: Production Quality Control Manager Jobs in Lusaka
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will oversee all production activities and quality control measures to safeguard product integrity. Your leadership will ensure adherence to production schedules and regulatory requirements, while fostering continuous improvement in operational efficiency and product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the entire production process to guarantee smooth operations and timely delivery.
- Develop and implement detailed production plans that align with company goals and market needs.
- Design and introduce innovative processes to boost productivity and enhance product quality.
- Conduct rigorous inspections of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to maintain high-quality standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all quality tests, inspections, and certifications to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on production performance, identifying key metrics and improvement opportunities.
- Lead, train, and mentor production staff on quality protocols, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate effectively with warehouse, logistics, and other departments to optimize workflow and coordination.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience within the Food and Beverage industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology or a related discipline.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Commitment to upholding the highest quality standards.
- Certification in quality management systems such as ISO 9001 or HACCP is advantageous.
