Available Positions for Primary School Educators Jobs in Lusaka

1. Deputy Head Teacher / Head of Department – Primary

Minimum Requirements:

• At least three (3) years of teaching experience in a primary school setting.
• Prior leadership experience as a Head of Department, Deputy Head Teacher, or similar role is highly advantageous.
• Diploma or Degree in Primary Education.
• Registration with the Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ) is mandatory.
• Demonstrated leadership skills including curriculum supervision, staff mentoring, lesson observation, and effective communication.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, collaborative, and of high integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise teaching staff and oversee schemes of work.
• Monitor learner academic performance and progress.
• Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment within the school.
• Engage and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.

2. Primary School Teacher

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of three (3) years teaching experience in a primary school.
• Diploma or Degree in Primary Education.
• Must be registered with the Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ).
• Capability to teach all primary school subjects effectively.
• Experience teaching Grade 4 to 7 examination classes is an added advantage.
• Strong skills in lesson delivery, classroom management, record-keeping, and computer literacy.
• Patient, dedicated, and committed to supporting learner achievement.

General Requirements

• Applicants should be residents of Lusaka, preferably from Woodlands or surrounding areas.
