Role Overview Summary

To provide Policy & Advocacy expert advice and technical supports to Civil Society Groups (CSGs)/ Networks to strengthen their capacity in public policy, civic participation and locally led advocacy. Through cocreation, this will enable CSGs to monitor policy commitments, develop joint advocacy with duty-bearers, and make the system accountable for the collective needs of marginalised people.

Additional Information

Allowance and accommodation

All volunteers have an allowance paid in local currency. The allowance meets reasonable living expenses in country, but will not be enough to send money home.

VSO works with some of the poorest communities in the world which means accommodation varies and will be basic.

Contract duration: Please note the duration for this contract ends 31March 2026 but may be renewed based on the confirmation of the funds.
