About the PE Teacher Role in Lusaka

Sissing Sanctuary Lodge seeks an energetic and dedicated Physical Education Teacher to design and lead engaging physical education programs for children aged 4 to 16 years. The successful candidate will foster fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship while ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all participants. This role integrates PE activities into the lodge’s holiday programs, providing a dynamic and outdoor learning experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate PE lessons and sports activities tailored to diverse skill levels.
• Organize games, swimming sessions, and team-building exercises to encourage participation and enjoyment.
• Promote health, fitness, and positive sportsmanship among children and teenagers.
• Maintain safety standards throughout all physical activities and ensure proper use of equipment.
• Manage and care for sports equipment and facilities.
• Collaborate with lodge staff to incorporate PE into holiday programs and special events.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a closely related discipline.
• At least two years of experience teaching PE or coaching youth sports.
• High energy levels, creativity, and excellent interpersonal skills with children and teenagers.
• Strong passion for outdoor education and physical activities.
• Willingness to relocate to Chongwe, Lusaka.
• Successful clearance of background checks.
