GMC Autofix Engineering Limited is seeking two skilled and experienced Panel Beaters to join our growing team. The successful candidates will be responsible for restoring damaged vehicle bodies to manufacturer and industry standards while ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•Repair damaged vehicle body panels and structural components

•Straighten frames and align body parts using appropriate workshop equipment

•Replace damaged panels and components where necessary

•Prepare repaired surfaces for painting and finishing

•Assess vehicle damage and recommend suitable repair methods

•Maintain a safe and clean working environment

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

•Certificate or Trade Qualification in Panel Beating or a related field

•Proven experience in vehicle body repair and restoration

•Ability to use panel beating tools and equipment effectively

•Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

•Ability to work independently and within a team

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming

•Mix and match paint colours accurately

•Apply paint coatings using spray-painting equipment

•Perform polishing and finishing work to achieve quality results

•Maintain paint equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards

•Inspect completed work for quality and consistency

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

•Certificate or Trade Qualification in Spray Painting, Automotive Refinishing, or related field

•Proven experience in automotive spray painting

•Knowledge of paint mixing, colour matching, and refinishing techniques

•Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

•Ability to work effectively in a team environment

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•Perform welding and fabrication work to approved specifications

•Read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans

•Cut, shape, assemble, and install metal components

•Repair damaged structures and equipment

•Operate fabrication machinery and welding equipment safely

•Maintain quality standards and workshop safety procedures

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

•Certificate or Trade Qualification in Metal Fabrication, Welding, or related field
