Mission of the role:
To establish an efficient inventory management system that aligns with divisional targets for Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and parts availability.
Your Mission:
Inventory Oversight & Order Management: Confirm and analyse daily orders in GIM, ensuring compliance with stocking policies and managing core purchasing for CC Zambia.
Process Improvement & Quality Control: Identify and eliminate failing processes through surveys, focus groups, and benchmarking; implement customer-driven improvement plans.
Inventory Analysis & Reporting: Monitor inventory levels, analyse stock movements, and report trends to manage supply chain costs and reduce excess or slow-moving stock.
Stock Planning & Forecasting: Support demand forecasting, stock control reviews, and pre-planning for machine rebuilds; maintain inventory for CC Zambia and oversee SAC1 part availability.
Stakeholder Engagement & Service Support: Maintain relationships with internal and external customers, support Item Master maintenance, and respond to reporting needs from regional managers.
Operational Support & Risk Management: Review spare parts lists, manage stock requests, assist in risk mitigation, and perform additional tasks as assigned.
Your Profile:
Minimum 3 Years of Supply Chain Experience.
Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures
Knowledge of ERP packages
Skilful MS Excel user.
Thorough understanding of supply chain processes.
Thorough understanding of domestic and international sales order throughput processes.
Thorough understanding in logistic and distribution processes and compliance.
Strong English communication skills both verbal and written.
BS in Business or Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or equivalent experience.
