Career Opportunities : Plastic Packaging Manufacturing Operations 

We are inviting applications from experienced, skilled, and highly motivated professionals to 

fill the following positions within our manufacturing operations, which will be based in Lusaka, Zambia. 

We are seeking individuals with proven experience, technical competence, and a commitment to excellence to join our growing team. 

1. 6 Colour Flexographic Printer Operator (1 Position) 

Requirements: 

● Proven experience operating 6 Colour Flexographic Printing Machines. 

● Strong understanding of colour registration, ink mixing and print quality control. 

● Ability to mount printing plates and set up print jobs accurately. 

● Experience printing on plastic packaging materials such as courier bags, refuse bags and 

packaging films. 

● Ability to troubleshoot printing defects including smudging, colour mismatch and poor 

registration. 

● Knowledge of solvent handling, ink viscosity control and cleaning procedures. 

● Ability to maintain consistent print quality during long production runs. 

2. Courier Bag Maker Operator (1 position)

Experience with Folding Machines, Glue application & Pouch Lamination Stations is 

essential. 

Requirements: 

● Proven experience manufacturing courier bags and plastic packaging products. 

● Experience operating Folding Machines, Glue and Pouch Lamination Stations. 

● Ability to set up and operate bag making machines efficiently. 

● Knowledge of sealing temperatures, cutting alignment and pouch finishing processes. 

● Ability to inspect finished products for quality, seal strength and sizing accuracy. 

● Experience working with tamper evident courier bags and security packaging will be an 

added advantage. 

● Ability to minimize material wastage and maintain production efficiency. 

3. Bottom Seal General Bag Maker Operator (1 Position) 

Key Responsibilities: 

● Set up, operate, and monitor bottom seal bag-making machines to ensure efficient 

production. 

● Produce bags according to specified dimensions, sealing standards, and quality 

requirements. 

● Conduct routine machine adjustments to maintain optimal performance and minimize 

downtime. 

● Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards. 

● Record production output, material usage, and machine performance. 

● Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance of equipment. 

● Report machine faults, production issues, and quality concerns promptly. 

● Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. 

● Adhere to all company safety, quality, and operational procedures. 

Requirements: 

● Proven experience operating bottom seal general bag-making machines in a plastic 

packaging manufacturing environment. 

● Sound knowledge of plastic bag manufacturing processes and quality control. 

● Ability to interpret production specifications and meet production targets. 

● Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. 

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

● Willingness to work shifts and overtime when required.
