Operator – 100t Haul Units

Reporting to the Supervisor – Production, you will be responsible for carrying out all duties associated with Operator – 100t Haul Units operations in mining department.

Your duties will include but are not limited to the following: 

• Conduct pre-start checks of the Machine before commencing work
• Hauling material to designated dump sites and/ or crusher.
• Maintain acceptable fuel levels of the machine in each shift.
• Work under the supervision of shift supervisors to maintain site safety standards
• Report defects, breakdowns, or maintenance equipment and operational areas.
• Support other mining activities as directed by the supervisor.

To be considered for the position, you must meet the following requirements:

• Grade twelve (12) certificate.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Must be certified to operator – 100t Haul Units.
• Must have sound Knowledge of safe working procedures and mine operations.
• Must be able to pass Psychometric/ Dover Tests.
• Certificates of service in the same role will be an added advantage.
