The Back Office Operations Officer is responsible for loading stock for merchants and ensuring that Back Office processes are adhered to.

Job Responsibilities

Loading of customer float
  Processing reversals for various transaction types
 Coordinating the repair of POS terminals
Ensure POS terminals are repaired and shipped back to merchants within the set guidelines.
 Ensure stock is loaded within the set guidelines.
Ensure reversals are processed within the set timelines and accurately.
 Ensure customer requests and queries are closed on time.

As well as above, any other duties given by management.

Accountability and Performance Measures

Accuracy and speed of stock loading
 Accuracy and speed of reversals processed.
Adherence to terminal repair processes
Query resolution times for staff requests
Merchant experience feedback on stock loaded through surveys.
Accuracy of reported data

Organizational Alignment

Reports to the Back Office Operations Team Lead

Personality Qualities

Good analytical skills
Ability to work weekends, holidays and after hours as required.
Excellent attention to detail
Quick to attend to queries.
High Integrity morals.
 Organisational skills.
Strong proficiency in data entry.
Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

 

Qualifications

Grade 12 Certificate
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
