2.Job Qualifications

1） Education and

Major: College degree or above in Nursing, with valid Nurse Practicing

Certificate and Operating Room Specialist Nurse Training Certificate.

2） Work Experience: At least 5 years of working experience in the operating room of a

Grade B or above hospital; familiar with the nursing cooperation process for

common surgeries in the operating room; capable of independently completing

instrument preparation, intraoperative cooperation and postoperative

arrangement for routine surgeries.

3） Professional

Competence: Master the standard operating procedures of aseptic technique in

the operating room; familiar with the use and maintenance of surgical

instruments and equipment; possess good emergency response capabilities to

cooperate with doctors in handling emergencies during surgery; understand

knowledge related to operating room infection control and strictly implement

infection prevention and control measures.

4）Professionalism:

Love the nursing profession, with a strong sense of responsibility, dedication

and team spirit; in good health and able to adapt to shift work; abide by the

laws and regulations of China and Zambia as well as the hospital’s rules and

regulations, with no criminal or disciplinary records.

Job Responsibilities

  1） Responsible

for the preparation work in the operating room, including counting and

preparing surgical instruments, dressings, medicines and consumables, to ensure

that surgical supplies meet aseptic requirements and usage standards.

2） Cooperate with

surgeons to complete surgical operations, accurately pass surgical instruments

and items, closely monitor patients’ vital signs during surgery, report

abnormal situations in a timely manner and assist in handling them.

3） After surgery,

responsible for counting, cleaning, disinfecting and sterilizing surgical

instruments and dressings, organizing the operating room environment, and

completing surgery-related records (including surgical nursing records, instrument

counting records, etc.).

4） Participate in

the daily inspection, maintenance and upkeep of medical equipment in the

operating room; report equipment failures promptly and assist in maintenance

when found; assist in operating room infection control work and participate in

regular infection prevention and control training and assessment.
