Job description
The Zambia Law Development Commission (ZLDC), a statutory body established under the Zambia Law Development Commission Act, Chapter 32 of the Laws of Zambia, invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced Zambians.
Job Purpose
To undertake thorough cleaning of offices, common areas, and utensils to maintain a hygienic, organized, and conducive working environment for Commission staff and visitors.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean, dust, and sanitize offices, corridors, boardrooms, and communal spaces daily.
- Wash, clean, and properly store kitchen utensils, crockery, and cutlery.
- Collect and safely dispose of office waste and trash.
- Assist with movement of files, heavy documents, or small office equipment between departments.
- Ensure safe custody and economical use of cleaning materials and tools.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Full Form V/Grade 12 School Certificate or General Certificate of Education (GCE) with passes in English and other subjects.
- Previous experience in institutional cleaning, hospitality, or corporate office maintenance is an added advantage.
