MVM Online Shop N Ship Limited is hiring a Cashier.

The Role
– Receive and process customer payments for shipping, assisted purchasing, freight, courier, and related services.
– Process payments through cash, POS, bank transfer, MTN MoMo, Airtel Money, Zamtel Kwacha, and Konse Konse Merchant (543).
– Issue official receipts and verify payment confirmations before the release of parcels.
– Balance daily cash, mobile money floats, and electronic payments.
– Perform daily cash reconciliation and prepare end-of-day reports.
– Respond to customer payment enquiries professionally and efficiently.
– Maintain accurate transaction records and filing systems.
– Ensure compliance with company cash-handling policies and internal financial controls.
– Report payment discrepancies, shortages, or suspicious transactions promptly.
– Support branch operations to ensure a smooth customer experience.

Requirements
– Diploma in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, or a related field.
– Grade 12 School Certificate with credits in English and Mathematics.
– Minimum one year experience as a cashier, accounts assistant, or in a customer service environment.
– Experience processing Mobile Money Merchant transactions is an added advantage.
– Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.
– Experience using POS systems is an added advantage.
