JOB OPPORTUNITY
The Council of Mulungushi University is an equal opportunity employer and is inviting qualified and sufficiently motivated individuals to apply for the position of Library Assistant (2 Positions).

Unit / School: Library Department
Location: Kabwe, Central Province, Zambia
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Purpose:

Assists library users in accessing information and resources by issuing, receiving and shelving library materials. Maintaining library records and catalogues and ensuring that the library is organized and conducive for learning.

Job Requirements:

  • Full Grade 12 School Certificate with at least five (5) Credits that should include English Language.
  • Certificate in Library and Information Technology from a recognized Institution.
  • Minimum of one (1) year relevant work experience.
  • Functional computer literacy.

Mode of Application:

Candidates meeting the stated requirements are encouraged to submit their application in either hard copy or via email to recruitment@mu.edu.zm, as a single PDF document attaching the following:

  1. A detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) with at least three (3) traceable referees;
  2. Certified copies of academic and professional qualifications;
  3. Any other relevant supporting documents.
