JOB OPPORTUNITY
The Council of Mulungushi University is an equal opportunity employer and is inviting qualified and sufficiently motivated individuals to apply for the position of Lecturer for Economics.

Unit / School: School of Social Sciences
Location: Kabwe, Central Province, Zambia
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Purpose:

To teach, conduct research, and carry out academic-related responsibilities.

Job Requirements:

  • Grade 12 School Certificate with at least five (5) Credits that must include English Language and Mathematics.
  • Earned Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a Merit or better from a recognised and reputable University.
  • Earned Master’s degree in Economics with a taught component from a recognised and reputable University.
  • Earned PhD degree in Economics will be an added advantage.
  • Functional computer literacy skills.
  • Competence in using e-learning platforms and ICT in teaching.
  • Proof of research and publications.
  • Diploma in Teaching Methodology from a recognized Institution.
  • Teaching experience at University level will also be an added advantage.
  • Valid membership with a relevant professional body in Zambia.
