A leading Beverage manufacturing company situated at Plot No. 37426, Mungwi Road in Heavy Industrial Area, Lusaka is URGENTLY looking to recruit suitably qualified individuals to fill the FOLLOWING VACANCIES.

1. Injection Moulding Operators (Husky) x 5
Department: Production (Husky) – Beverages
Reporting to: Production Manager – Beverages
Location: Lusaka

Job Summary / Desired Qualification and Knowledge:

Able to work independently.
Sets up and operates injection-moulding machines.
Sets machine controls, regulating moulding temperature, volume of plastic, moulding pressure, and time, according to knowledge of plastics and moulding procedures.
Set the equipment based on blueprints or design directions of Injection moulding machine.
Monitor production to ensure quality during the process, and also clean and perform maintenance on the equipment.
3 to 5 years of experience working in the manufacturing industry.
Must have a Diploma/Certificate/Advanced Certificate in Mechanical/Engineering/Electrical or any other related qualification from a recognised institution of learning.

2. Refrigeration Technician x 2
Department: Marketing Equipment Management (MEM)
Reporting to: MEM Manager
Location: One Kasama and one Kitwe

Job Summary / Desired Qualification and Knowledge:

Troubleshoot refrigeration systems for clients with different needs.
Replace faulty refrigeration parts and install new refrigeration systems.
Observe, service, and repair installed systems to ensure they work properly.
Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent as well as previous experience in refrigeration systems.

3. Production Line Supervisor x 1
Department: Production – Beverages
Reporting to: Production Manager – Beverages
Location: Lusaka

Job Summary / Desired Qualification and Knowledge:

Able to work independently.
Solve issues that arise on a production floor and ensure a safe and clean production workspace.
Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees.
Ensure the smooth running of processes on a production floor.
Monitor employees, organize workflows, and analyse the efficiency of manufacturing processes.
Monitor production to ensure quality during the process.
Plan, schedule, and manage daily production of dairy products.
Oversee functions like packaging, maintenance, budgets, and manpower.
Analyse the production processes to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
Responsible for all the regulatory compliances.
Liaison with other departments like commercial, store, quality, and human resources.
Manages the product & package attributes’ compliance.
Monitor productivity rates and product standards and implement quality control programs.
Organize the repair of any damaged production machines in a stipulated time frame and maintain records of the same.
Review worker performance and identify training needs.
4 to 5 years of experience working in the manufacturing industry.
Must have a Diploma/Degree in Production Management/Mechanical/Engineering or any other related qualification from a recognised institution of learning.

4. Electrician x 4
Department: Production – Beverages
Reporting to: Production Manager – Beverages
Location: Lusaka

Job Summary / Desired Qualification and Knowledge:

Will be responsible for ensuring that all production equipment, infrastructure, fixtures, and all other equipment are in good operating condition and well maintained in terms of electrical.
Installing electrical systems as and when required.
Maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting electrical control, wiring, lighting, and other systems and equipment.
Performing general electrical maintenance.
Testing and inspecting electrical systems and certifying their compliance.
Able to work independently.
Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
Inspecting transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
4 years of experience working as an Industrial Electrician in the manufacturing industry.
Must have a Diploma in Electrical or any other related qualification from a recognised institution of learning.

5. Blow Moulding Operators x 6
Department: Production – Beverages
Reporting to: Production Manager – Beverages
Location: Lusaka

Job Summary / Desired Qualification and Knowledge:

Able to work independently.
Operate blow moulding machines to produce bottles according to production specifications and quality standards.
Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper function and quality output.
Set up and adjust machines, including moulds, tooling, and auxiliary equipment.
Close the chamber to mould product under heat and pressure.
4 to 5 years of experience working in the manufacturing industry.
Must have a Diploma/Certificate/Advanced Certificate in Mechanical/Engineering/Electrical or any other related qualification from a recognised institution of learning.

6. Lab Technicians x 1
Department: Production – Beverages
Reporting to: Production Manager – Beverages

Job Summary / Desired Qualification and Knowledge:

Able to work independently.
Performing lab-related activities of the shift and informing all deviations to QCM.
Supporting Lab Assistants and developing their skills.
Physical and chemical analysis of dairy products.
Handling deviations with consultation from QCM.
Handling and performing additional tasks given by QCM.
Release of products in process and correcting if required with consultation from Lab i/c and QCM.
Responsible for syrup and beverage availability as per the production schedule.
Manages documentation and certifications like ISO9001:2015, HACCP, and other requirements.
Maintaining lab equipment and calibration of lab equipment.
Preparing standard solutions.
Documentation (Record keeping).
Maintaining plant and personal hygiene.
Must have a Diploma of Science in Laboratory Technology or any other related qualification from a recognised institution of learning.
